Dr. Christensen grew up in a small farming community. From a young age, he knew he would be a dentist. His mother gave him the idea during one of his several trips to the dentist as a child. He never felt fearful of his childhood dentist and wanted to replicate those same experiences for others.
While attending BYU in Provo, Utah, Dr. Christensen married his lovely and amazing wife, Denise. They have four adorable girls. As a family, they love spending time together and making each other laugh. Part of his concern for younger patients is due to his concern for his own children. He never wants a child to experience dental pain (or anyone, for that matter). He is always happy to see a child in the office and answer any questions a concerned parent may have.
He attended Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI until May 2014. Since that time he worked in private practice in the same small, rural area of Washington state he grew up in until March 2017. He and his wife Denise decided to move to the Grand Junction area to be closer to her family.
Dr. Christensen is excited to practice in Fruita. He loves small towns for the slower pace of life they afford. He continues education to provide small-town patients the same quality of care that can be found in big cities. Dr. Christensen’s passion is, you guessed it, teeth, bone, gums, and the entire oral cavity! Learning more about dentistry is what thrills and motivates him. It’s an exciting field and he hopes that you too can be excited about it!
Front Office Administrator
Tiffany has been a big part of our team since the summer of 2015 as the Front Office Administrator. The Grand Junction native has more than 15 years of experience in human resources and accounting. “This practice has given me the opportunity to not only work with a group of very talented and educated individuals, but I am also able to meet and greet this great community of people,” says Cox. In her free time she enjoys cooking, fishing, and spending time with her two children.
RDH (Dental Hygienist)
Katie grew up in rural central Illinois where she graduated from dental hygiene school in 2007. She moved to Colorado in 2011. After meeting her husband in the Vail Valley and spending time in Denver they decided to move closer to family in the Grand Valley. She and her husband have a yellow lab mix, Oskar Blues. She spends her free time gardening, cooking, hiking, and camping.
I became a dental assistant because I derive great joy in helping people. I love when I can create smiles while building relationships with our patients! Most people don’t “enjoy” going to the dentist, it brings happiness when I can change that perspective.
Brenda grew up in the Grand Valley and graduated from Palisades High School in 2019. She then attended Intellitec Colleges and received her Registered Dental Assisting Degree and has been practicing for over a year. It’s been her pleasure interacting with and educating patients on the importance of oral health. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 3-year-old daughter, her dog (Ruger), and the beautiful outdoors.
RDH (Dental Hygienist)
I have been a dental hygienist for 15 years. Becoming a dental hygienist has been one of the best decisions in my life. I love getting to know the people in the community and it’s very rewarding to help them achieve and manage a healthy smile.
RDH (Dental Hygienist)
I graduated from CNCC in 2020 with a degree in Dental Hygiene and have been practicing in Parachute, CO for the last few years. I became a Dental Hygienist to help patients become more comfortable at the dentist and achieve their overall oral health. I grew up in Grand Junction, CO and am moving back to the area. I have two cats and love spending time outdoors with my husband and our dogs.
